About Us

Welcome to Mako Foundation, The Mako Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting underprivileged children and youth through education and healthcare initiatives in Ethiopia and the United States. Originating from a family's effort to assist their hometown of Kuyara in Ethiopia, the Foundation has grown to build schools serving grades 1-4 in Ethiopia. We are committed to creating educational opportunities that empower students to succeed and contribute to their communities. Additionally, in collaboration with Project C.U.R.E., we are expanding our mission to healthcare, aiming to make a lasting impact one hospital, clinic, and patient at a time. Our diverse initiatives reflect our commitment to holistic community support, both in Ethiopia and in the United States
